Original Inspiration 1983:
In 1983 I purchased this surplus military Aircraft Instrument from a store in Toronto Canada called Active Surplus. Little did I know at the time it would become the inspiration for a business I would have for my entire life. Stand By much more to come.

The Original Trintec Watch Story may ring a familiar BELL!
We're sorry that so many watch enthusiasts are having difficulty coming to terms with this reality. Trintec was the very first to produce the Original Instrument Inspired Aviator Watch. It’s hard to argue who inspired who, when The Original Trintec 9060 Altimeter Watch pre-dates its competitors by 22 years, yes 22 years; but some will still argue. We know that millions of dollars have been spent to convince you otherwise by another watch company. Our Original Altimeter Watch, first released in 1990, was inspired by an Aircraft Altimeter, not a clock, we all know that was done more than 100 years ago. Until we produced our first clock in 1984 and later our first watch in 1990, no other watch or clock company had ever produced a watch or clock which featured the design elements of an Aircraft Altimeter.US Design Patent filed 1984, issued to Brendon Nunes in 1987
